About The
House of Ruble
About Owner
Founder and Interior Stylist, Stacy Ruble, has been curating homes for the last 22 years. My husband's career path took our family to Montana, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, South Dakota, and Alaska, but my goal was always the same: to create beautiful spaces in the homes we purchased and raised our family in. We chose homes with potential, places we could improve and bring to life. I've always been able to envision what a space could become, and turning those visions into reality not only brought us joy, but also helped ensure a profit when it was time to sell.
With each move, I found myself excited for the next project. A few years ago, we found our dream home in the Meridian Hills area of Indianapolis. That's when I realized I wanted to bring this passion and experience to others, beyond my own home. I decided to open The House of Ruble, a boutique interior styling service dedicated to the North Meridian Hills, Crows Nest, Historic Meridian Street, and surrounding areas.
Mission
The House of Ruble believes in a personal, hands-on approach. We intentionally work with only a select number of clients at a time so each project receives our full, undivided attention. I am on site throughout every project because you are hiring me for my expertise, and that is exactly who you get, not someone I hired to stand in for me. I want each project to carry my signature touches, thoughtfully tailored to you and your home. The House of Ruble looks forward to working with you.
Project Workflow
1.
Book an Appointment
Booking your first appointment with us is the first step in your journey with The House of Ruble. During this meeting, we'll review your project, discuss your goals, vision, and desired outcome for the service.
2.
Recieve Our Quote
You'll receive a text from us letting you know that your quote has been emailed, along with all the essential details. We'll also provide a few optional start dates for you to choose from, and we'll follow up with a phone call 24 hours later. Once you decide on a start date, first half of payment is due.
3.
Project Start Day
Things to expect on project start day: we'll arrive on time, walk through the space together, review the plan, and confirm any final details before getting started. We will arrive each day between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m. and leave between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m. We ask that the area being worked on be left undisturbed during this time. We will keep everything organized and as neat as possible throughout the project.
4.
Project End
At the close of the project, we'll do a walkthrough with you to confirm your satisfaction with the results. The project area will be cleaned so you can immediately begin enjoying your space. The remaining balance is due upon completion. We accept cash, Zelle, debit, or credit; please note there is a small bank fee for debit and credit payments.
The House of Ruble Project Showcase
Here are a few more of our recent projects with before and after pictures. To see more of our work please check out our portfolio.
1. Before Closet
This poorly lit closet has a good amount of space but all one color which makes it very uninspiring to get ready in.
2. After Closet
The dormers come to life with bright new lighting. New wallpaper adds dimension, while the new paint color allows the white shelving to pop. The shelves become useful with organizational baskets that transform the shelving into being aesthetically useful.
1. Before Egress Basement with Bar
This basement area was unusable it smelled old and musty. The atmosphere was dark and depressing.
2. After Egress Basement with Kitchen
This Transformation was so satisfying. The results were bright and refreshing very useable area. Space was left for new owner to put in stove and oven combo.
